The Purpose

The Alina Therapy site is designed to reflect Alina’s unique approach to therapy, emphasizing inclusivity and creating a welcoming space for LGBTQIA+ individuals, people of color, and all seeking support. By prioritizing accessibility, trust, and representation, the site aims to connect users with therapy services tailored to their needs, fostering a safe and empathetic environment for healing and growth.

"Creating a brand and website that truly reflects my values is essential to differentiate myself in the field." — Alina H.

01. The Research

The initial analysis revealed that Alina's existing website was text-heavy, lacked a clear user direction, and was built using a restrictive template on Wix. This created a need for a design that was visually appealing and user-friendly to inform about Alina's specialties while promoting conversion for potential clients.

Emphasize empathy, be accessible and highlight specializations.

SWOT Analysis

By conducting a SWOT analysis I focused on creating a unique, cohesive layout that would engage users and encourage them to explore Alina's services. Key opportunities included utilizing Figma and Webflow for high usability, emphasizing Alina's specialties, and designing an easy-to-use contact submission form.

Persona Building

To tailor the website to potential clients, a persona was developed, encompassing diverse individuals aged 20-55 years from various backgrounds. This persona guided the design decisions, aiming to address their needs and preferences effectively.

02. The Approach

To align with her shift toward higher-paying clients who value health and wellness, Alina’s rebrand embraced a refined yet approachable design. The muted, calming color palette and organic shapes convey balance and healing, while the elegant serif typography adds sophistication. Embossed business cards and minimalist, nature-inspired icons reinforce a premium, wellness-focused identity. This cohesive rebrand positions Alina as a trusted provider of high-quality, personalized therapeutic care.

Low Fidelity Wireframes

From low to high fidelity, the design prioritized a warm, inviting style that matched Alina's therapeutic approach. Organic shapes and a motivational quote integrated into the design reinforced a friendly, non-rigid approach to therapy.

Final Web Design

The high-fidelity prototype featured a contrasted "BOOK" button, organic design lines, and highlighted Alina's credentials and consultation offers. A strong call to action was strategically placed to reduce bounce rates and increase client leads.

03. The Results

One of the main challenges was integrating blockchain without overwhelming users. By keeping the tech in the background, I ensured simple, user-friendly interactions that reduced cognitive load to prioritize the intentionality of decisions made when handling culturally significant artworks.

Feedback

Analytics ensured that the website was intuitive and met the needs of clients. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, emphasizing the site's navigation, visual design, and alignment with Alina's image. The design was a transformative project for Alina's practice and increased her traffic by 2000% from the previous month.

Moving Forward

Insights gained will guide further refining and expanding the digital presence of Alina's practice. By continuing to iterate based on user feedback and integrating new technologies, we can ensure the platform remains a relevant and supportive space for clients, further strengthening the community Alina aims to build.
